Erlang Shen二郎神

The Story Within

A shape-shifting thief took the form of a decorated general and demanded passage through the South Gate. Soldiers saluted the armor, but Erlang Shen's third eye saw a frightened village child beneath it. He lowered his spear and asked what had been stolen first. The child's confession revealed a corrupt granary. A blue ray of discernment entered this vial, where judgment waits for the whole truth.
